Who We Are
How Softmelon came to be, and how we work.
Softmelon Engineering began in Ghana, where our founder Reuben Mensah's interest in technology started young. Time spent working in Italy sharpened that interest into a career in software engineering, and eventually into the decision to build a company of his own.
Softmelon operates from two bases: Accra and Bologna. That isn't incidental. It lets us combine close, hands-on delivery for Ghanaian and West African clients with direct access to the European enterprise market and the compliance, security, and delivery expectations that come with it.
We work as senior engineers embedded in your problem, not as an account-managed vendor. That's the model the company was built around, and it's the one we've kept as we've grown.
